Here are some examples of past storytelling and knowledge mobilization projects.

  • ReVision Online Storymaking Modules

As part of the team at Re•Vision: The Centre for Art and Social Justice, Calla worked to articulate the organization’s approach to online storytelling through a series of publicly available modules. The modules guide storymakers and facilitators through the Re•Vision online storymaking process by way of plain language text, instructional video tutorials, and thoughtful grounding questions.

  • Sizing Up Gender

Sizing Up Gender is a participatory arts-based research project where knowledge and representations of fashion, gender, and fatness are co-constructed. Alongside a small research team, Calla contributed to the two-phase research methodology design, recruited and supported participant collaborators, produced co-created photographs, and designed the website linked below.

  • Mapping Arts-Service Organizations in Canada

The Mapping Arts-Service Organizations in Canada project is a research collaboration with national arts and culture support organization Mass Culture and the Creative Communities in Collaboration research lab. As part of a small team from the CCC research lab, Calla contributed to the mixed-methods research design, stewarded partner and stakeholder relationships, and collaborated on knowledge mobilization opportunities. The map is now hosted and maintained by Mass Culture.
